  4. This program was compiled using Turbo Pascal 7.0. It is a simple Maximus news
  5. file generator. It generates a Mecca file which you then compile. You may
  6. include a header (line 2 of Mecnews.cfg) which can just be a line or it can
  7. point to another file which you can display (for multiline headers) or a MEX
  8. file (but why would you need one on news? :)

  12. The format of the mecnews.txt file should be:
  13. Line1: Date
  14. Line2: Item Heading/Topic
  15. Line3+: News Item
  16. After 3: ===

  18. Then you may start over again on the next news item.
  19.  
  20. You can leave out the date and/or heading without problems.
